Battery Boy Donates to Chatham Goodfellows

Battery Boy Donates to Chatham Goodfellows, in the attached photograph Nichole Hunter and Paul Card presents a cheque for $2,000.00 and batteries to Tim Haskell of Chatham Goodfellows.  

Battery Boy is a great partner of Chatham Goodfellows.  Battery Boy was one of the first business to come forward to assist Chatham Goodfellows in 2014 to replenish their battery stock after a large amount of batteries were stolen in a break and enter last November.  The donated batteries will be packed next week during toy packing,  December 7 – 10 between 6 pm – 8 pm at the former Sunnen Guspro Building 280 Grand Avenue East.  The $2,000.00 donation will be used to purchase  food and toys for an estimated 1500 families in Chatham and the former townships of Chatham, Dover and Harwich, Raleigh and the Merlin Community in partnership with the Merlin Legion.

Key Dates:

Toy packing at the former Sunnen Guspro building 280 Grand Avenue East on December  7, 8, 9 and 10 between 6 pm and 8 pm each evening.

Toy delivery  from the former Sunnen Guspro building 280 Grand Avenue East December 21 after 5:30 pm.

Street sales December  11 & 12 between 8 am and 5 pm.

Food Packing December 22 beginning at 8 am until completed at the Spirit and Life Centre (the former St. Joseph Auditorium) Wellington Street West Chatham, deliveries begin after 1 pm until 9 p.m.
