King George VI School Donates to Chatham Goodfellows

Mrs. Benn’s class at King George School worked very hard collecting toys from their fellow students this Christmas season to donate to Chatham Goodfellows to ensure “No Child Without a Christmas”.   The toys were collected yesterday morning and packed last night into gift boxes for delivery on December 21.  King George VI was one of the schools from the Lambton Kent District School Board to receive the 60th President’s award from the Chatham Goodfellows in 2014.

Tim Haskell of Chatham Goodfellows receives the toys from Mrs. Benn’s students, Manav, Abby, Haedyn and Sophia.

The 2015 Chatham Goodfellows President’s Award winner – The staff of Boston Pizza donate to Chatham Goodfellows.

Each Year the staff of Boston Pizza donate all of the tips from one day of operation.  The tips are used to purchase toys to fill the gift boxes that Chatham Goodfellows delivers on December 21.

Tim Haskell of Chatham Goodfellows gathers the toys from the General Manager of Boston Pizza,  Mary Frances Kluka, Chantal Muloin, Tylene Lorenz and Manager, Linda Niven.
