Dover Kinette and Kinsemen

The Chatham Goodfellows were pleased to receive Dover Kinette and Kinsmen Club’s annual donation on Wednesday evening.  The Dover Kinette and Kinsmen Club have been long term partners with Chatham Goodfellows.  Over the years, they have always provided sizeable donations to give Chatham Goodfellows and excellent start the annual campaign.  Dover Kinsmen President, Larry Cadotte and Kinettes President Dianne Duphette present a cheque for $1,500.00 to Chatham Goodfellows Director Tim Haskell.

This year volunteers will raise funds, donate, pack and deliver food and toys for an estimated 1400 families in in Chatham and the former townships of Chatham, Dover and Harwich, as well as partnering with the Merlin Legion to provide for those in need in the Merlin area.

Chatham Goodfellows appreciates the generosity of the media, businesses, organizations and citizens.  Our motto is simple;  No Child Without a Christmas.  While our Code is much longer one of the key statements in the Code says it all;  It’s understanding a neighbour’s plight, and caring enough to do what’s right.
