Union Gas Employees continue to donate to Goodfellows

Union Gas employees have been long term partners with Chatham Goodfellows.  This year Union Gas Employees receive the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award.  Union Gas employee have donated  thousands of hours of sweat equity, and over $500,000 in toys, food and cash to Chatham Goodfellows. Employees are continuing this legacy, yesterday Dave Yakubowich and Chris Potter dropped of 8 full bins of toys to Chatham Goodfellows toy barn.  Photograph L – R Tim Haskell receives the toys from Chris Potter and  Dave Yakubowich.

On December 1 (Jersey Day) at Union Gas, all Engineering managers participated in the “jar donation challenge”.  The three jars with the most donations had to a silly costume for the day.  A total of $3,892.95 was raised.

Chatham Goodfellows appreciates the generosity of the media, businesses, organizations and citizens.  Our motto is simple;  No Child Without a Christmas.  While our Code is much longer one of the key statements in the Code says it all;  It’s understanding a neighbour’s plight, and caring enough to do what’s right.

  • December 13 to December 15 Toy Packing 6pm to 8pm at 280 Grand Avenue East ( Old Sunnen//Guspro Building).
  • December 16 – December 17 Street Sales.
  • December 20 Toy Deliveries at 5:30 pm at 280 Grand Avenue East ( Old Sunnen//Guspro Building).
  • December 21 Food packing/delivery at Spirit and Life Centre (St. Joseph Auditorium) packing begins at 8 am and deliveries after 12 noon.
