Chatham Goodfellows 2017 Porchlight Campaign

Every year Goodfellows receive heartwarming stories of people giving back and helping others at Christmas.  Earlier in the 2017 Goodfellow campaign, Emma-Lynn Wilbur made a special request to her family and friends not to give her gifts for her birthday, but instead purchase gifts to donate to Chatham Goodfellows for the 2017 “No Child Without a Christmas” campaign.

Tonight Shannon Williston, who assisted in coordinating the porchlight campaign, heard another wonderful heartwarming story.  Five year old Tessa Attewell collected donations at her birthday party at the YMCA on November 18th.  The birthday party was a superhero theme and all the kids were invited to ” save the day” by making a donation of canned goods, a toy or winter clothing. The toys and food will be donated to Chatham Goodfellows to “Ensure No Child Without a Christmas”.  Tessa’s mom, Tiffany Attewell expressed how proud she is of Tessa and her friends at Ecole Ste Marie!
