Union Gas Donate to Chatham Goodfellows

Each year the employees in the Engineering Department of Union Gas hold a Jersey Day in which employees are encouraged to “dress down” and in doing so, are requested to make a cash donation.  Union Gas in turn generously donate the money raised from their Jersey Day to Chatham Goodfellows “No Child Without a Christmas” campaign.  In addition, employees in the Engineering Department of Union Gas raised $1533 by managers agreeing to dress up if their jar had the most money: top 3 “won”.

In the above, Union Gas employees Brian Cox & Angela Scott present a cheque in the amount of $25,000 to Chatham Goodfellows President Tim Haskell and Director Rose Peseski.

Union Gas employees have been long term partners with Chatham Goodfellows. Last year Union Gas Employees receive the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award.  Union Gas employee have donated  thousands of hours of sweat equity, and over $550,000 in toys, food and cash to Chatham Goodfellows.

Chatham Goodfellows appreciates the generosity of Union Gas and their employees.  Our motto is simple;  No Child Without a Christmas.  While our Code is much longer, one of the key statements in the Code says it all;  It’s understanding a neighbour’s plight, and caring enough to do what’s right.
