Chatham Goodfellows happy to be a recipient of The Gift as we continue our plan to ensure “No Child Without a Christmas”
Chatham Goodfellows thanks everyone for participating in the October 24/25 “No Child Without a Christmas” drop off weekend. This is the launch of what we hope will be another successful year of supporting our community during the holidays.
With the need for assistance on the rise in Chatham-Kent and Christmas just a couple of months away, Chatham Goodfellows are happy that our “No Child Without a Christmas” campaign will be one of the recipients of donations to The Gift campaign. Chatham Goodfellows will be sharing our experience with The Gift volunteer group to collect and disperse non-perishable food and toys to those in need in our community.
With a commitment to continue our tradition, Chatham Goodfellows invites the community to participate in a “Virtual Porchlight Campaign” where people will be able to e-transfer money and light up their porch lights to show support. This is scheduled for Monday, November 30.
Community organizations that would like to donate toys and food can email Chatham Goodfellows and a volunteer will arrange to pick up your donations, taking care to socially distance. To book an appointment for a pick-up, please email: info@nullchathamgoodfellows.ca.
