Kent Minor Hockey Association Bantam AE Team

While Chatham Goodfellows motto and mission is to ensure “No Child Without a Christmas”, the Chatham Goodfellows Board of Directors like to believe that we as a community are working in partnership as a team to build a community of practice of philanthropy with the young citizens in Chatham-Kent.  One prime example of the development of young  philanthropist is the Kent Minor Hockey Association Bantam AE Team.  Recently the young men from the team purchased toys for Chatham Goodfellows.  The young men enjoyed the task of finding the perfect gift for Chatham Goodfellows.  In addition to donating the toys, the team packed the toys Monday night and they are collecting non-perishable food at local arenas.

Team members Hunter Myers, David MacDonald, Ryan Tremblay, Corbin Koole, Dylan Carey, Logan Miller, Zack Law, Josh Storey, Dom St.Amand and Nick Martin turned over the toys to Chatham Goodfellows President Tim Haskell last evening and packed toy boxes.

Over its 63-year history the Chatham Goodfellows have provided Christmas to the less fortunate for citizens in Chatham and the former townships of Chatham, Dover, Harwich and they partner with the Merlin Legion/Kinsmen to provide for those in need in Merlin, Dealtown, North Buxton and the former Township of Raleigh.

Chatham Goodfellows appreciated the overwhelming generosity to “Ensure No Child Without a Christmas”.
